I don’t think people realize this but nothing in this world is PERFECT. Reiki can indeed have negative consequences, nothing is perfect and set in stone. If you think about it, reiki ‘heals’ or does things at the most fundamental level of a human being. A person energy is their essence, its what you are made of, your emotions (energy in motion). Reiki ‘energizes, unblocks, removes’ etc. These are all changes that occur at the most fundamental level of a person, and while it obviously does GOOD things much of the time which can’t be denied (there are so many stories about how reiki has helpled people), it is stupid to assume that reiki can in no way under no circumstances intentionally or unintentionally be unbeneficial to a person. It is tinkering with your subtle body, your soul if you will, your energy body your emotions. It is psychic surgery, most practitioners of reiki will even admit to it being that. Everyone loves surgery right? Medical procedures have helpled saved many lives, true? of course its true. And is it not also true that there have been times when things have gone wrong?? Of course it is. how is reiki different besides the fact that it operates on a different level. Nothing is perfect nothing is a quick fix one stop fool proof miracle procedure. THE WORLD IS TOO COMPLEX FOR THAT. Reiki and all its new age followees almost seem like a cult, sharing the same unquestioned beliefs about many things, almost like half the wonderfulness about having this healing gift is helpling people and the other half is being a part of the new age Club. Sure its great to be a part of a subculture people, we all want to belong and feel we’re contributing to society and such too right? But how can you be so closed minded as to think that Reiki Can Never Ever Harm. Things regarded as ‘bad’ have in the past also proven to be beneficial under the right circumstances (think of the use of LSD or Ecstasy in treating psychiatric patients). Most people are so anti-drug that even if the evidence of a positive change was right in front of them, they would still vehemently deny that it was possible. Just like they deny that any negative reaction or experience could ever be attributed to reiki. And if you as a patient report it, most will still deny it. After all. who is the doctor right? Think of the progress society has made by uncovering faults in the world, think of the rise of reports of sexual abuse, the teinted blood scandal, I could go on and on. Think of how these horrible truths had to be faced and exposed in order to move the world forward and help humanity as a whole. Don’t be so naive and wrapped up in your Ego or successes that you are blind to negativity. Nothing is perfect, not even Reiki. Reiki is not the miracle saint everyone in this world has been waiting for to rescue them from their problems. Think that just maybe this is not the second coming of Christ. Have an open mind people. And to take it a step further: Open your fucking eyes, reiki practitioners. Don’t forget that as a doctor, healer or human being, you have a responsibility to USE CAUTION. to PROTECT yourself and others. Know what you’re doing. Think, explore, question. NOTHING IS PERFECT don’t we know this as a society yet? Notice how many people on the reiki train parade around anti-drug propoganda or blast western medicine as if THAT had never helped someone. You don’t go to a reiki practioner to deliver a baby right? Sorry to sound redundant or preachy. Not my intention. People need to see the truth. People are human. Reiki practioners aren’t perfect and like any doctor can make a mistake. A lot of doctors are full blown idiots and should not be practicing at all. Its better to see these things sooner than later. The reiki world needs some yin to their yang, some constructive criticism to counter all that blind optimism and deluded faith. It will probably become apparent sooner or later. My personal experience with reiki: detrimental to my life. Half the responsibility falls to the patient I believe in taking care of themselves, but half of it falls to the reiki practioner who should be responsible for what they do for and to people.

indeed, ruow really needs to be read to be comprehended.. so i will leave it there.. suffice to add that the books give a detailed way in which to sort out what is true and what is not.. it includes understanding on what is judgement and what is not and requires judgement release such that there is no assumption, judgement or misunderstanding.. in conjunction with ending denials and moving emotions the idea is that understanding will come. (having first cleared the receptive magnetic centers which may be full, having been denied full expression since manifest experience began)..

on that note.. i recall reading you said you remember all of your lives.. do you have awareness of ‘how it all began?’

If you strongly take on assumptions then your entire thinking gets locked down those lines and this warps your ability to ‘evaluate’ things ‘different’ to this.

Having done the science thing i.e. gained it’s experience AND done the same with quite a few other things to understand both their coherence AND their flaws then I no longer “hold” to assumptions or beliefs.

I label ALL of any ‘temporary’ assumptions I have as “Probably COMPLETELY Wrong” because there is 10,000 times more chance of this than of them being right. As such my assumptions, my understandings and my ‘resources’ change COMPLETELY sometimes overnight on a 9 months to yearly cycle. I know this, my clients know this because they have to put up with what I say changing radically and my resources working in completely different ways when this happens.

Reiki people are locked into assumptions, so are scientists so are Buddhists and it’s best to assume that you are too. I’m secure enough ‘now’ to step off a cliff into the unknown every day because I’m not glued to any assumptions I’m free of them. This allows me to take in information from all different directions more ‘freely’ the bigger base of information you have the larger your understandings can become that encompass more and more . . . and so it goes on . . .

and gives the definition (paraphrasing):
if you are not in acceptance of yourself then you are denying yourself, if you are denying yourself you are holding yourself outside of love. when you hold yourself outside of love you are fragmenting yourself and creating denied self/will/light.
if individuals are denying one aspect of self they will be denying others.. and so the death dealing denial continues.

this applies to every aspect of life, specifically and most obviously to the ‘scary pages’ on soul retrieval.

in context of this page on reiki, i was referencing the idea that by placing a branded labelled formula/technique on top of what is actually divinity/god/self/connection/unity there is a disowning and discontinuation of flow and true being. so the fronting claim that you need accreditation or to be trained to be your true self is a denial in many ways.. not really too much different to the stories of jesus complaining about rabbi’s acting as middle men (this story too was ‘erased’ / ‘denied’).

denial, then, can be said to include any idea which does not unconditionally accept that you can heal and be loved unconditionally and that places unnecessary limits on that.

there is much more to say on the subject, but that is what is relevant here.

and that includes the self.

i am aware that the practitioners of reiki are taught to ‘get out of your own way’ ‘its not me doing it, i am a facilitator and conduit for universal energy’ – in other words, i don’t exist and am acting on your behalf because you are unaware.. so much indirectness and confusion.

this reminds me of taking part in a buddhist chanting session for purposes of enlightenment.. which i did with intent of enlightenment and as such is not wrong (to me) – i later found out that the chant included the clause ‘may all be enlightened by finding enlightenment via the x,y,z buddhist foundation and via a specific person – name elludes me’..
i was kind of shocked but on holiday and didn’t want to offend at that time.

i believe the keyword that unifies the energetic blocks you are referencing is ‘denial’. end the denials and what was pushed away can return.

I don’t have the same problem as you refer to – but am pleased as i may have gone along this route.
My problem was the reiki i received.
The lady who gave it to me,in a nut shell said that i was full of faults,i was a poor me,my mam had lost the plot and was going to get worse and that my great grandmother was a pain.
She stripped me of my confience,instilled the fear of God into me and made me worried sick.
I had a complete melt down.
Before i met her i was full of confidence and very,very happy and indpendant.
I’m going to trust myself from now on -no reiki,no groups.
