Hello. I recently (about a year ago) started writing a fictional story about faeries–well, about one faerie. I’m currently working on the novel, but since then, I’ve become quite fascinated with faeries, and it’s crossed my mind to wonder if they’re real or not. I’m honestly not sure. I’m a Christian, and I know there are spirits and forces out there, but believe that they are either good or evil, and that most likely those who appear good are probably evil in disguise. I don’t want to deal with energies or powers; I just would like to meet a faerie and possibly become friends with it if they do really exist. Maybe I could tell it about my story and ask what it thinks? (Just a thought)I’ve seen so many things lately of fake footage (on youtube, of course), and contradictory accounts, but now I’m asking you. Really and truly and honestly, are faeries real? And are they “good”?
I love nature and the woods, but I haven’t had the fortune of being able to live close by any. Now I go to school near where there are plenty of woods, and I always want to just go out there and sort of…become one with nature. My biggest hindrance is my fear of spiders, though, haha. That and the fact that I don’t usually have much time after classes to go and just spend time outdoors before I have to catch the train home. Anyway, do you actually SEE the faeries? With your natural eyes? Or can you only sense them? Sorry for all the long questions, but I’d really appreciate the answers. =)

Many people can have a lot putting them off engaging with these areas, most is from past life incidents. And yes, it’s not exactly the same area as this BUT it’s all about accessing the beyond and being able to work with subtle energies and the ‘beyond’ effectively. The same guy is in the process of writing another page covering more angles of sabotage that came up after he wrote this page.

And come say of it, i can’t even make the energy come out of my hands. i know cause, i image the energy on my hands and i think it is, but when i let it touch other parts of my body i don’t feel like it’s giving off energy.

i have been reading a lot of stuff from your articles. I very much want to learn how to do more subtle energies. But, yeah i was wondering what shall i do when i can’t even trust my own instinct. cause this one time i feel this very strong presence behind me, it didn’t sound negative. it was when i trying to see if i can get some energy to heat up water or at least make the water move, which i do not if is possible. But i ignore it, and believe it’s just myself imaging, because i often believe i feel the presence of another being. the reason was because the being just stood there like a statue and when i want it to move something else will react to me. like another being moving according to my thought. i conclude this as imaging. i don’t really know what to do, everything seen to be falling.

Hey Clive. My sister and I have always been interested in these sort of things. I have a little bit of wood behind my house, but i can definitely feel some sort of energy in certain places there, I’ve felt this energy for as long as i can remember. The problem, though, is that i am a Catholic, and connecting with energies and such is against it. what should i do?

In the Philippines, we have all sorts of myths and legends about fairies (or ‘diwata’ in Filipino), nature spirits, demons, etc.

Hello Cleo!

I can relate to your sentiments very well. I grew up watching cartoons with fairies and magical beings and wishing they were true. I also had a cousin who claimed that ghosts were real. But my mom would tell me that ghosts and fairies don’t exist at all. Since I live in the city, there’s no way I can see fairies in the first place. Also, I already had fears of nightmares (ex. ghost scaring me) that get triggered when I watch scary stuff (ex. horror flicks, people being beheaded/killed on screen).

I grew up being afraid of the spirit realm and wanted nothing more to do with it. But part of me had always wanted to believe in magic (literally) even if everyone else considers it childish.

And yea, in Christian sects in my area, believing in fairies and other mythological creatures is considered superstitious.

Hi Gladys, you pick these things up with subtle senses and it’s processed by your mind. I often don’t ‘look’ to see things I can be looking in one direction and see what is standing behind me in spirit / other dimensions. As you are not seeing a physical thing then the physical rules of seeing don’t apply.

Hi Justin. With nature spirits none apart from one quite sexy wood nymph that wanted to come home with me. I’ve had some ‘dark’ encounters which are described on another page here when exploring some ancient monuments. BUT as I deal with entities and the like and so called demons on a regular basis then it’s a case of them being afraid of me rather than the other way round. I wouldn’t let this type of thing put you off . . . .
