Is it a Fairy or is it a Faerie?
My first encounter with a fairy was just off the local popular bridal way near where I used to live in County Durham between Rolands Gill and Medomsley. I had a period when I would jog about a mile or so up the track in an attempt to get fit. Often however, I never made the mile as I would either be dragged into the wood by some fun nature spirits wanting to play or by Herne to be led to some interesting energy areas. On one such occasion I was led through the undergrowth until I emerged by a stream. There was a small overhanging tree on the other side which seemed to have some sort of being sitting in its central branches about two meters from the ground.
How big are fairies and do they carry wands?
As I got closer it resolved into a white creature holding a long stick type thing which actually twinkled at one end – sorry but I just could not handle that this could be a magic wand. What really confused me was that it seemed quite big (about two feet tall (60cm)) and seemed eh! somewhat overweight. As I believed that fairys were very small – say no more than six inches tall (15cm) and slim this encounter caused me slight confusion. As did the fact that it actually seemed to have some sort of magic wand. Communication went something along the lines of;
‘Are you a fairy?’ – ‘Yes I’m a fairy’ – ‘Eh!! – Are you sure?’ – ‘YES‘ ‘Aren’t you eh!! . . . too eh . . . big? . . for a fairy? . . . ‘ – ‘!$$??£‘ ‘ . . . and is that a magic wand? . . . . . ‘
I don’t think she was impressed with this exchange; she went a little sulky. So, a fat over sized fairy stretched my boundaries about fairies. She seemed to be lonely and wanted to keep to herself. I never asked if she could cast spells with her wand.
Confusing encounters with fairies continue
So, that was my first encounter a mite confusing and this unfortunately continued with the next encounter too . . . .
So, while at Bellingham in Northumberland on another walk I spotted a figure sitting in a similar looking tree (they do seem to have a preference for a tree that has an open branched area part way up to ‘lounge’ in). However as this Being was about four feet tall and male and wearing green (green!!) it was very definitely not impressed with my chat (Well I some how thought that faerys were only female and green was for pixies?).
‘Hey – are you a fairy?’ – ‘Yes’ ‘Well how come your wearing green like a pixie?’ – ‘!$$??£‘ ‘Hey . . . . Eh!! . . . are you male?’ ‘I thought fairies were only female?’ . . . . . . . ‘NO!!! – I AM A MALE FAIRY‘

I could just imagine him thinking – don’t humans know anything – what is this guy on? At a certain point during my encounters I realized that what I was seeing, was only what they wanted me to see with respect to my understanding. I realized that different people would see the same Being differently and that what they saw would be representative of their own background, understanding and expectations.
So, with this in mind the next time that I was out in the woods and felt the presence of a fairy it was my wish to see this being as it
actually was rather than how it chose to presented itself to me. This was somewhere north of Rothbury outside a small place called Callaly if I recall correctly.
Seeing a Fairy as she REALLY is
The result was that I saw a large amorphous white cloud over a group of trees, this cloud is in reality what a fairy really is to a fairy – an intelligent energy form. As I tuned into a this cloud it coalesced and flowed down becoming more concentrated and eventually presented itself in front of me in the form of the fairy-tale fairy (much like the picture on the right). She was very beautiful and was quite amused with our encounter. I felt privileged to be in her presence, to see her as she really was and then to see her as she chooses to be recognized. It seems like my wish came true.
When you are accessing other realms to see or sense whatever is presented to you, there is always some feedback system at work. The beings you are accessing may have some ability to control their presentation; nature spirits do this.
For example the main nature spirit energy form Pan I have seen in two different forms and in one of he has so far presented himself between 2 meters tall and 30 meters.
The other factor is yourself, your past experiences and your engrained beliefs and ideas, these will ‘warp’ the interpretation of what you are presented with too.
What do fairies really look like
Well it follows from the above that it’s going to be very hard to be definitive. I have tried with the pictures above to edit and ‘play’ with them to more accurately depict the underlying energies. Some pictures that I really like because they present much more of the ‘flavour or taste’ of this realm follow;

Who believes in the fae and do they really exist?
There is a an attitude amongst dimensionally challenged scientists that people will simply ‘imagine’ or ‘create’ in their minds what they believe. This is a fairly obvious assumption from a group of people whose training in part is about staying distanced from personal experience, feeling, imagination and even intuition while striving to be ‘logical’ and ‘rational’ and ‘observant’.
This attitude and orientation actually prevents people from properly and deeply engaging with their own internal processes, feelings and landscape. If you fully engage with your internal states; your feeling states, mind states and processes, intuition, imagination, senses, dream states and spend time consciously in them then you will become familiar enough from repeated experiential ‘experience’ with your own internal workings to know their boundaries and limits and therefore have no problem telling the inner internal from the inner external (like I do).
I am sensitive enough to my feelings and emotions for example to know the differences between feelings arising spontaneously in this moment or whether they are ‘reactive’ feelings being provoked in response to a past trauma or block. I even know the subtle differences that tell me that a feeling originates not in this life’s but in a past life.
The above exchange with fairies confirms that what I ‘believed’ or more accurately what I knew about fairies did not result in my internal memory or ‘belief’ states confirming this.
What is belief? When is a belief a ‘belief’?
I have trouble with the ‘B’ word, in terms of how people define what is a ‘belief’. You could say that belief exists when ‘repeated’ experience is lacking. Repeated experience of seeing nature spirits, fairies for example takes a person out of the realm of belief and into something else.
In this respect I ‘believe’ in Centaur’s, because I myself have not seen one BUT I have heard of others whom have.
For me it’s highly likely that just about EVERYTHING that has been consigned to ‘myth’ or ‘legend’ relates to peoples experiences of getting in touch with other dimensional realities that are somehow intersecting with this one in other times when a ’stupid & superstitious’ rationality was less prevalent. As a species, humans are progressively disengaging from ‘feelings’ and subtle sensory states while barricading ourselves into a severely limited mind.
From the above I have to be adamant that I ‘DON’T’ believe in fairies, in the same way as I don’t have to ‘believe’ in the seat I’m sitting on now for me to sit on it. I have interacted with ‘fairies’ for quite a long time. Quite simply these ‘people’ exist, and they are some what much more friendly than many ‘rational’ types even when you bother them with stupid questions.

It’s hard to get the balance right there isn’t it Jordan? How can you tell someone that ‘trying’ isn’t it without getting weird looks? Trying is usually a ‘head’ thing and not a being in your senses thing?

Hey jordan, I think i mightn’t seen some dryads recently and i just cant explain this but when i saw them i got very happy cheerful and warm feelings
and they seemed to be emitting very happy thoughts 
i might be wrong though but these days i see trees very differently you see they seem like talking to me and they also seem to be reaching out to me whenever i go past them and i kinda feel their touch in a very gentle way i don’t know if you and CLIVE would agree upon this or not but after i got affiliated with this new world my RESPECT for our mother nature has changed and i tend to understand feelings of our dear mother nature 
and i also feel the presence of fairies in our nearby gardens but cant see them though but for now the feeling is enough, the problem is in my culture i’ve to wear something in my left hand sum iron bangles which i know repulse the fae people so that’s i think one of the reasons they might want to visit me, anyway i am content to at least have a little glimpse of the dryads though, i couldn’t connect with them because i tried a little too hard next time but that’s ok, i am learning gradually maybe in future i might be able to connect, thanks for your and clive’s time, lots of fairy dust to both of you, hey jordan could you PLS say HI from me to your fae friends

Hi navy. The trees that talk to you are called faery trees. they form when faerys live in it and if the tree have served them well they leave a large amount of faery dust and the tree eats it. but be careful they could be telling you something bad is going to happen (don’t mean to scare you).oh and i went on that faerys. net site your rite it is good!

yesterday I first dreamed about swirling WHITE/SILVER light and I saw myself swirled in it and I am also creating it like as a PROTECTION RUNE or something and I was very HAPPY 
I am trying to ACTIVATE my 6th Chakra /pineal gland by a meditating process and it seems like a weird sensation between my eyes) .
After the GOOD DREAM I started seeing the HORRIFYING DREAM I can’t EXPLAIN the dream but I saw a DEMON kind of thing it had a HORRIBLE FACE and HOLLOW EYES and when I looked at them I felt nothingness
I wanted to SHOUT but I wasn’t able to and I couldn’t WAKE UP from my SLEEP but when after lot of EFFORTS I did wake up I was really SCARED 
to go back to sleep and i was SCARED to death for at least 4-5 hrs
Could you EXPLAIN what was that? and if you need to ask how I was trying to ACTIVATE my 3rd EYE I’ll definitely explain in detail if you need answers

Hi! I don’t mean to be nosey, but what happend with the scary demon nightmare? In my experiences Ive found that the closer I get to making real progress, the harder the bad ones try to interfere. This is a major reason why I think blockages occur and why more people aren’t willing to acknowledge the fae. I’m interested in what kind of advice may have been given as far as protecting ones self? I get online from my cell phone so I sometimes miss things on sites I visit, but shouldn’t there be a section on how to protect yourself from the undesirables meddling? I realize the topic is fairies and nature spirits but if you go around openly inviting contact, that invitation is pretty much open to whatever happens along, isn’t it? Nav, I hope you are ok. I apologize for being nosey (and if I’ve missed the protection suggestions)

its just that ACTIVATING your 3rd eye/ 6th chakra by meditating HELPS one to see FAE kind properly but sometimes the DARK kind also gets attracted, don’t worry I am working on it, don’t apologise you’re fine, gud to see diff perspectives 
my dreams are kind of my 6th sense they give me gud/ bad news, this only bad 1 gave me d worst scare

Like I said, I get online from a mobile phone and I miss stuff. Not trying to make an excuse for offending you or for my previous post. I just read the reply after reading over other sections and realizing this isn’t like the other sites I was browsing (I came to this site after googling “real fairies”) I got plopped right in the middle of things. I then proceeded to just butt right in without obtaining enough info and assumed this was something it isn’t. I’m sorry.
No problem Kelly, I’m prone to over reacting in these areas. So, how is this site different to others? I feel that it’s very different and certainly the intention behind it is different but few seem to have caught on to this. Yet? I presume your mobile is probably not downloading images? I’m sure it would be worth ’stealing’ a computer or spending an hour in an internet cafe to see what it really looks like? I think this particular page has about 150 comments – fairy power at it’s best. It must take a while to get through them on a mobile?
I am able to view pictures. Of course, I can’t view a page in it’s entirety without a lot of scrolling around. It can be difficult but certainly not impossible (as long as I’m feeling patient).
This site is amazing and more along the lines of what I was looking for when I started searching online in the first place. Other sites I’ve visited have barely begun to even scratch the surface of what you present here. I always jump in and ask questions (I can’t post on all sites from mobile, just a few will let me) when I can so I can personally get a feel for the info provided. I’m actually kinda glad you got upset with me (tho I think I spent the rest of that afternoon with my “tail” between my legs) and I certainly agree I need to check this out on a computer when I get a chance. I live in the US in the middle of farm country. No Internet cafes, as far as I know, in these parts, lol. I’ll find a way.
So, I’ve made it a point to start from the home page and have been reading consecutively. I really do have to stop and give myself a chance to “get my head around it” sometimes. Other times, I just lose patience with my phone……
Would a ’site map’ page listing all the pages here help? I actually thought I had one but it seems like it’s been magically disappeared by fairies . . . . I just put on up; it lists all pages and posts of all categories.

They talk about u cause they’ve met you before. they said you very pretty and have beautiful hair. they said that somehow your connecting with them makes the fae portal from the realm of fae to earth stronger each day.well fairy dust to u. I love this article on fairy sightings, especially explanations regarding common misunderstandings (such as the existence of male fairies). Also, the images are absolutely beautiful! hay guys i just saw a ghost. my dog died last year. well my parents put her down. she was 15 years old and was a cattle dog. she used to sit by my pram and if i started crying she would run up and down the hall. well i just saw her. i was sitting on the computer logging on to the site when I heard a wimper and ha ha mmmt as she had her togue hanging out I put my hand out and she came over to it and licked it. then she walked out the door into the living room. I chased after her but she wasnt there. her was sasha and now I have a knew dog. same breed and name is bindy. shes only a puppy. I miss sasha terribly.

Clive, I have a question for you.
Right during that stage of sleep and waking up in the morning, I dreamt of this wild plant outside where someone had placed some creamy pudding-type dessert on one of the leaves– as though it was a faery offering.
While I was watching it, a gravelly male voice spoke– saying “Delish!” (American slang for “delicious”) I thought it was funny actually, but I was a little scared, because the voice was a deep male’s voice and it sounded like it was using my vocal chords to say this.
Then I woke up.
Lately I’ve been inviting gnomes, elves, anyone from the Faery Kind to come in my home at nights– as long as they love God.
That night I did put out a little dish of Tarimisu dessert.
I hope this Being wasn’t a demon or something negative like that. I do like his sense of humor

I’d not worry Lisa sounds feels like it’s just your personal connections with nature spirits and not anything nasty. Different people have different way of ‘engaging’ with these other realities dreams are one way. Sounds like my sense of humour too.

Id didnt get bad vibes, so I think you’re right- it was a Being from the Fea’s dimension.
This Halloween I put out a large chocolate chip cookie for this Gnome or Elf- or any from the Faery Realm to enjoy for Halloween.
it might be a brownie. they live in your house and can appear in you dreams. give it lots of honey to make sure it dosent turn into a boggart.

I have seen faeries. They are all sort of different, the ones with wings usually tend to flowers, She had a wand and was glowing. The fearies robe was off white and flowing, and her hair was golden and she wore a flower like cap of cream color.
thats sorta like one of mine but she didnt have a wand and a cap.
ok… i do have a question!
once when i was litle i had an episode with something “strange”, i travelled to south of to the countryside and for three nights i would wake up in the middle of the night and in my room there was a litle ball of light flowing around but it was like if it had a heart or something because the light was on and off, on and off as if it was being pumped from somewhere. So at first i thought it was just a light from something outside but then it passed trough my closet and i could see the rays of light comming out from the inside of the closet as if it was iluminate from the inside… so know way it could be some outside light.
But then everytime that thing tryed to come over me i would start screaming, someone would come to check on me and the light would vanish… third night i just started to believe that ye maybe i was going nuts. But now i’m reading somethings on faery websites that faerly resemble with that except for the fact of the pumping light thing…
So what do you think? faery, orbe or just no faith on my case and i’m on the road for crazyness on these life?
I’d not subscribe to faith or belief A.K. just consistent experience. I’ve not had any of these type of ‘orb’ encounters myself, but I’ve heard of others with this sort of experience. It’s more likely some form of spirit contact thing rather than a ‘fairy’ folk type encounter. Crazy is us having an ascendant modality that for 200 years has decided that only the physical consistently observable (by a ’scientist’) exists. Read ‘Entangled Minds’ by Dean Radin for an appraisal of the SCIENTIFIC evidence for many PSI, ESP type things (which are still not accepted by the majority of scientists).

for such a late reply bt I was sick at first with the SWINE FLU & later went to a place with my husband to his conference called Nashville, Tennesse in USA and it is a beautiful place to be as the FALL season is still there to be seen

That would be great they would luv it!Swine flu that was a close one I havnt had a shot for that yet your a very lucky person.The fairies are fine I been making clothes for them Like skirts and dresses.I sorta have a model fairies called pipe (pip-a)I may have mentioned before.But its hard weving grass blades through tiny holes and with shirts you have to remember a hole in the back for the wings.Dont feel sorry for not relying Its fine!JORDAN.
Hi Clive and Jordan, This is the very stangest day in my life…I didn’t expect that I would see a fairy today, this fairy was wearing purple dress, It’s following me in school…When I arrived home, I saw her in my bedroom, I’m shocked cauze It’s talking 2 me, but I can’t understand what she’s saying, I think her wings is broken…maybe she’s trying to get some help, I leave her in the bedroom for a minute cause I want 2 call my mom on the phone cause I don’t know what 2 do, but my mom didn’t believe me, so I went back 2 my room and I saw that fairy again but this time her wings was not broken, she smiled at me and gave me small bag, I don’t know what’s inside but it looks like a sand..then she flew away…I don’t know If I would see that fairy again.
