Belsay Hall Time Warp – A dimensional window into the past

Some of my adventures and this includes those from early on had us accessing and interacting with the past. The encounters all had a distinctly different feel to them. There was no mistaking the difference between the ‘here and now’ encounters and those that were bridging other times.

Belsay Hall House NorthumberlandOne of these encounters was at Belsay Hall a National Heritage property in Northumberland. There is a Greek style villa, a castle, the original manor house and extensive landscaped grounds. When we arrived we went into the house, this is a large building with bare rooms – no furniture is allowed on display.

Having a portal to view into or access the past

As we walked through the house it gradually dawned on us that we were in what can only be described as a time warp. We were seeing the house as it was in the 1800’s. From the information given on the house and its history (which we read later) I would guess that the actual date would be of sometime in the 1830’s. So, all that follows is of what we say and who we interacted with from that period.

In the first room we met a very finely dressed woman. On conversing with her it turned out that she was the woman of the house (the wife of the owner). She was wearing a very elaborate almost ball gown type dress in blue, she did not seem to be happy.

In the next room which was the library we found the owner talking to his butler, grounds man and solicitor. They were discussing the affairs of the estate. There appeared to be some problems and they were trying to sort them out. It was here that we realized that somehow, we were really there in that time period walking around his house. We found ourselves wearing costumes of that period and that all members of the household were aware of us. At one point we even startled a footman with his ear glued to the main door listening to his masters conversation. On seeing us he fled.

Walking around seeing things & people as they were in a past time

It could be that we were phasing into and residing within people already visiting the house. This is the explanation that sits best with us. We toured the whole house in this state, seeing all the bedrooms and so on as they were in that period. We even watched some gardeners working in various parts of the garden when we went out. At one point when we were outside we came across a little girl of about six having a dolls tea party. I was so fascinated by some other things that were going on that I was not taking much noticed of her. Because of this she asked Joan if I did not like her. With this I started chatting to her and we became friends. From here she took my hand and acted as our guide as we walked through the formal and quarry gardens.

Interestingly, on my next four visits or so to Belsay Hall I would always find her slipping her hand into mine and walking around with me. I got the impression that she could only go to certain places if someone accompanied her.

First encounters with a pixie and troll

On this, our first outing to Belsay in an aware state I met my first pixie, some more fairies, my first troll and a water nymph. When we reached the castle we interacted with spirit guards, spirit cooks and so on from an even earlier period. We even walked through a herd of spirit deer that were roaming the grounds as we came back across the fields.

As we were driving away and heading for Alnmouth I became aware of a small green man standing in my lap looking out over the steering wheel. I was so shocked I almost lost control of the car. I was told that he was a nymphile – a very nice Being great fun.

Dimensional window or portal to view past times and people

This day was very much part of the ongoing training program from ‘them upstairs’. I have only covered briefly all that took place, but enough so you get the different aspects of this trip. From this I realized:

  • That these people were not ghosts (which is what I originally assumed) but that we were somehow accessing them directly on a particular day in the past. We think we did this by merging with people already visiting the estate and using them as a vehicle for our interactions although maybe they in their past saw us as weird garbed ghosts.
  • That it was therefore possible to access periods from the past consciously.

What do YOU have to SAY about what I write here?

What are your experiences? Can you relate to what is written here? We would appreciate you share your experiences because staying quite only reinforces the impression that such encounters are rare (I suspect they are not). So, don't be shy . . . . .

I guess from your description of your tour that magic mushrooms grow in the gardens

    • Clive says:

@derek – Actually Derek. I’ve never taken or tried any magic mushrooms or any type of recreational drugs for that matter. Why people would think that i’d want to mess up an exceptional awareness and natural multidimensional abilities taking these is beyond me.

I was very lucky in Oct.2004 to spend a week with Clive & Cris in a beautiful little coastal village called Warkworth in Northumberland.

We visited Belsay Hall & and walked around the beautiful garden’s. It was an amazingly spiritual place, Clive & Cris showed me a spot where a water spirit was standing & told me to stand within her. So i did, at first i could only feel a slight energy vibration, but this slowly changed into an undulating energy movement, which then changed again into an experience of not only being submerged completely underwater, but also at the same time, feeling like i was standing under a “real” waterfall, with the feeling of being cleansed & washed at the same time. It was very beautiful, magical experience.

Also although i am not clairvoyant, walking around the gardens enabled me to have inner visions of what maybe some of the energies represented.

We passed under an archway & as i looked back i saw in my minds eye a giant troll as big as the archway, he was smiling in a jolly not menacing way, he had short red curly hair, a large turned up bulbous nose, a stout body, with heavy short arms & legs, his clothes were green & browns, sort of t-shirt style, with cut off short trousers, no shoes, showing his large feet & large stubby toes. It seemed the archway was his to guard / take care of. Also when we passed a place when some gnomes were known to live, i got the image of “David the gnome” (a cartoon character famous when my son was little – about 18 years ago) in my minds eye, with his white beard & red cone shaped hat ! – It was such an cool, awesome day that day!

As we walked around the gardens the little spirit girl came to join us, Clive told me she was no longer holding his hand, but mine instead. I love “little ones” & was very honoured she wanted to walk holding my hand. We continued our day & nothing more was said about this “little one”.

It was only when i got back home, a day or two later that i felt the presence of “a little girl” with me. I don’t know whether it was this “little spirit girl”, or some connection from her, or even, my own inner child, but i did feel this energy around me, in my home, in my daughter’s bedroom, and also in the children’s day nursery, that i then worked in.

Sometimes during the evening when i would sit quietly watching t.v. i would feel a very strong energy presence of “a little girl” cuddling up & wrapping herself around & within me on the left side of my abdomen, the connection felt very comforting & secure & gave me the motherly feeling i remembered i would have cuddling my own children when they were younger.

As the days past the energy of the little girl seemed to lessen, until i could no longer feel her, at the time, i guessed she had gone back home or moved on, but in any case, i felt that her time / energy & purpose spent with myself had come to it’s natural end.

I wasn’t sad, but felt “blessed” & i hoped that “she” had gained as much as i had from the experience.

Just before our visit to Belsay Hall & Gardens was over, we were treated to a “close – encounter” with a beautiful “red” squirrel, he was sitting happily on the wooden gate in front of us as we turned the corner, he continued to sit there for a few moments, before skipping away into the trees / bushes to the right of us.

Wow ! – i was thrilled i had never seen a “red” squirrel before in the wild, and so close as well, what a treat!

And guess what! – when i got back home a few days later & turned my calendar page over from the month of Oct. to the “now” month – Nov. – what did i see ? – BUT a photograph of the “red squirrel !” The squirrel on the calendar picture even had the same “pose” as the one we saw on the gate – WOW ! – How MAGICAL our reality can be sometimes! x.

I hate to sound like a non believer, but you claim to have all these experiences, when there is no one else who claims such experiences, and when there is the occasional one, they only claim to of had a one off, when your claiming every experience possible, from meeting fairy’s to time travelling. And why don’t you have any photos from your experiences? Sorry to sound so cynical Clive. Thanks

    • Clive says:

Hi Justin, how would you get photographs of accessing none physical ‘other’ dimensions? On the other hand if you check out the links page on this site then under Nature Spirits, Devas & Elementals the first two sites present photographs, Also, this is ‘Viewing’ / ‘Accessing’ the past, it’s not so much time travel as accessing how things where. Try doing a search for ‘Damanhur time travel’ and you might read about some people whom ‘claim’ to have time travelled physically. A recent survey in the UK had 50% of the population ‘believing’ in PSI / paranormal type things of these half marked down that they had some personal ‘experience’ of ‘weird’ phenomenon. So, Justin that’s about 10 million people+ with some experiences ‘off’ the map. Yet the general attitude / awareness of such things matches your own remarks here. I’m a medical research scientist a ‘trained’ objective observer some might say. I objectively observe more than physical reality. Have you listened to any of the ‘healing’ sessions? These are done over the phone, in about half of these sessions BOTH MYSELF & MY CLIENT are accessing and viewing / interacting simultaneously in real time other dimensions / people there to resolve issues. I do this as easily as I walk down my local street! There are exercises on site here to help you become aware of such ’subtle’ things yourself . . . . .

  8. Justin says:

Do you have any suggestions you could give me to help me experience a time warp? thanks clive. Im Truly fascinated

  9. justin says:

Thanks Clive. That cleared it up for me. I’m going to start practising. I’ll keep you informed on how i progress if you like? Thanks buddy have a good one

  10. Clive says:

Yea, let me know how you get on . . . also maybe download the http://www.selfhealinghandbook.com which would compliment the exercise pages here, it’s a free e-book.

  11. justin says:

Will do. One more thing (sorry about my million questions a day! lol) seeing i live in a city, does that mean i wont be able to find any fairies etc.?

  12. Clive says:

You must have some ‘park’ or ‘green’ space? Or maybe a local nature reserve? The more ‘looked’ after or natural somewhere is the better for nature spirits.

  13. justin says:

ok well im new to the place so ill have a look. cheers

I’ve tried typing ‘ghost’ and ‘dead people’ on the RealityWalker search engine but can’t find much information about my most recent experience related to ancestral spirits. (In Chinese terms, this means the deceased spirits of your ancestors, like your dead parents, grandparents, and other forefathers.)

I think this site doesn’t have much information about seeing dead people? Or did I miss out something?

Does being multidimensionally aware include ’seeing’ dead people in the mind’s eye?

For now, my interpretation of the mind’s eye is this: the reality I access when my eyes are closed. Sometimes this alternate reality seems like pure imagination (ex. purple crystals appearing out of nowhere in a room full of television screens — represents me reclaiming parts of my ‘power’ from past lives). Other times the reality is the same as physical reality but with slight differences in what I’m ’seeing’. (ex. Whether my eyes are open or closed I am standing in a temple and ‘praying’ or ‘contacting’ dead relatives. But that’s where the similarities end. When my eyes are closed, I can ’see’ my dead grandparents even though I don’t feel anything at all. But when I open my eyes I don’t see any physical ghosts floating around.)

The above situation happened for the FIRST time TODAY. Whether I really ’saw’ dead people or whether my imagination/subconscious has gone hyperactive (because of my fear of seeing ghosts and other supernatural entities), I don’t know. I admit however, that I had wanted to see my dead grandparents for some time but I had no idea how to do it. I was feeling panicky and scared when I finally ’saw’ them.

Also, what does Sharon’s “mind’s eye” look like?

    • Nina says:

By the way, the dead people I ’saw’ did not just appear. What they told me reflected their character. For example, my maternal grandfather told me to be good. His wife told me, “Tell your family that I love them. Take care.” My paternal grandfather brought his deceased pets with him. In his typical wisecrack style, he commented on how his children find it easier to love him now that he’s dead (i.e. send him candles and flowers) than when he was alive (i.e. pay for his hospital bills). [Now I know where I get some of the insights that came out of 'nowhere'.] He even told me to take care of his old dog — the same thing he told my mom before he passed away. It reflected what my mom told me about him loving his pets more than his wife.

More about ancestral spirits: the Chinese pray to them for blessings and ‘take care’ of them by burning paper money and joss sticks and offering them food. That’s to make sure they’re doing their filial duty and avoid punishment from their deceased ancestors.

    • Sharon says:

      Hi Nina,

Using the term ‘minds eye’ is a little confusing isn’t it, but i guess i would use this term to describe ’seeing’ what i know is not ‘really there’ and also to describe any mental images i might have.

I get information easier when i have my eyes open, i have to be in a very high energy space to be able to explore or receive anything with closed eyes.

So to explain the above, the troll was more of a mental image that flashed up and superimposed itself infont of the archway, i would describe seeing it as an outline, like a picture drawn in pencil, but not coloured in. I got the colours more from a ‘feeling sense’of how he was. This image had a feeling of ‘presence’ but i was unsure if it was an ‘in the now’ presence, or an energy presence from a past time, being shown to me.

The gnome image i received was a memory of mine, i saw / remembered by son’s cuddly toy gnome, the memory was in colour. There was less of a ‘presence’ feel with this image, it was more like ‘picking up energies’ associated with gnomes, but that non were around at the time.

I have seen some things in spirit that seemed to be seen with ‘real’ sight that when looked at again were not physically real. I once saw the door of a room open and when my eyes re- set, the door was still closed, but, the door did open, though obviously not physically as it had appeared to do so. I have seen spirits, but i didn’t see them clearly in detail, if i get detail at all, it comes from a ‘feeling sense’ rather than what i can see with my physical eyes.

I think ‘dead’ people are ‘beings in spirit’ that have onced lived as humans, i think there are some examples of interactions with spirits that have once lived as humans on this website.

Hope this helps a little xx

      • Nina says:

        Hi Sharon,

Thanks a lot for replying. Now I can approximate a bit on what your “mind’s eye” look like. It seems like this term is very subjective, as it highly depends on the individual’s experience.

The ’sighting’ of my dead relatives was triggered by my remembrance of them in according to the Filipino custom of remembering the deceased on Nov 1 (All Saint’s Day) and Nov 2 (All Soul’s Day). Lots of Filipinos and Chinese also visit their deceased ones on Halloween (Oct 31).

The strange part is that I was able to mentally talk to my paternal grandfather (the pet lover) when I thought of him. When he was about to leave, I asked him, “Don’t you have anything to tell my dad?” He said, “Nah, your dad won’t believe you. He doesn’t believe in ghosts. For him to remember the good times we have shared together is enough for me.”

Now that you mention it, I think the things they told me may be triggered by what I remember about them. For all I know, ’seeing’ them could merely a figment of my imagination. But the panic and terror I felt at that time was still real. Two beings (ladies in white gowns floating above; they look like wingless angels) told me that my third eye (ajna or sixth chakra — supposedly responsible for people’s abilities to see ghosts) is being activated as part of facing my fears of nightmares and seeing entities.

In the Philippines, when we talk about psychics, mediums, or anyone who can see ghosts, dead people, and other entities, we say that their ‘third eye’ is open (partly or fully). Those who can’t see or feel ghosts have their third eye shut down or closed.
